WECC Appoints Amanda Berg as Chief Financial Officer
MADISON, Wis. (March 17, 2016) – WECC, a national leader in the design and implementation of energy saving and financing programs, is pleased to announce that Amanda Berg has joined the organization as Chief Financial Officer.
“Amanda Berg is an exceptional addition to the WECC team,” said Mary Woolsey Schlaefer, WECC’s President and CEO. “She has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and brings a formidable combination of skills in the areas of financial analytics, operating efficiency and reporting, and strategic forecasting.”
Berg brings more than 15 years of financial experience to the role. She most recently served as financial controller and a member of the leadership team for ZEBRADOG, a Madison, Wis.-area environmental design firm, where she oversaw the company’s financial duties and analysis. Berg also administered human resource functions, including benefit implementation and analysis, and also was also involved in operational policy development and financial resource management.
Prior to her work at ZEBRADOG, Berg was a senior accountant at Famous Footwear and a member of the accounting staff at Fiskars Brands, Inc., a consumer products company.
“Energy is a new field for me and I’m excited to immerse myself in such a critical and vibrant industry, especially with a mission-based organization like WECC,” Berg said.
Berg has a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
