Cory Chovanec

Cory is a hands-on energy professional with nearly 20 years of experience in various facets of building performance. He distills technical information and client requirements to crews and sub-contractors to ensure quality work and effective collaboration. Not only does he lead a variety of WECC’s building science trainings, he also performs in-field quality assurance inspections, provides technical support to customers and clients, and helps develop field guides for weatherization programs. Cory has acquired multiple certifications from BPI and holds a Home Energy Professional certification as a Quality Control Inspector. Additionally, he recently helped lead the development of WECC’s first IREC-accredited training program.

Greg Nahn

Greg Nahn

Greg has spent two decades leading the design, delivery, and promotion of award-winning residential energy efficiency programs across the country. At WECC, Greg oversees 100 independent raters and thousands of quality assurance reviews in compliance with RESNET®, ENERGY STAR®, and other program/certification requirements. Greg develops and implements curriculum for a number of the BPI courses—playing a key role in preparing candidates for certification exams. He is a BPI Certified Professional, a RESNET HERS Rater, and RESNET accredited rater trainer, and is a regular presenter at local, regional, and national conferences.

Robert Parkhurst

Robert Parkhurst

Robert is an award-winning building science educator and long-standing energy efficiency quality controller who has made outstanding contributions to advance both state and national weatherization goals. For more than 25 years, he has been a vital member of the low income and weatherization industry—improving the quality of life for countless residents. Robert oversees WECC’s residential program quality assurance and technical assistance initiatives. He has developed reporting systems, protocols, standards, and calculators that help in-field staff deliver high-quality products and services. Robert holds a Home Energy Professional certification as a Quality Control Inspector and frequently delivers riveting presentations on the latest weatherization technologies at industry events across the country.

Bob Pfeiffer

Bob Pfeiffer

Bob is an award-winning and distinguished building science educator and residential energy professional with nearly four decades of experience. He has a passion for sharing his program design and practical, cost-effective retrofit expertise with others striving to improve the quality and safety of the residential housing market. He is a dynamic speaker and trainer who develops and delivers multimedia classroom experiences, in-field-training, and mentoring sessions to energy professionals at local, state, and national levels. Bob has acquired multiple certifications from BPI and holds a Home Energy Professional certification as a Quality Control Inspector. Additionally, he recently helped lead the development of WECC’s first IREC-accredited training program (Quality Control Inspector). He has owned and operated Pfeiffer Energy Services for more than 30 years.

Adrian Scott

Adrian Scott

Adrian is a seasoned veteran in building performance with deep roots in the energy efficiency industry. Specializing in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, Adrian has worked on thousands of energy-related projects and trained hundreds of industry professionals since the 1980s. Adrian has acquired multiple certifications from the Building Performance Institute and holds a Home Energy Professional certification as a Quality Control Inspector. He is a highly sought-after speaker and demonstrator—regularly called on by organizations across the country to present at energy efficiency and weatherization events.
