WECC is committed to increasing the market for energy efficient products and services. We believe that the best way to do that is to help private businesses increase the profitability of providing energy efficiency to their customers.
Our programs always aim to partner with the private businesses already involved in serving our target audience. To promote ENERGY STAR qualified compact fluorescents, for example, we partner with manufacturers and retailers. Similarly, we partner with builders on our new construction initiatives and a variety of contractors and remodelers on programs for apartments, condos and existing homes.
Folks use a variety of terms to describe these private businessestrade allies, business allies, partners, etc. We prefer the term market provider because it defines these businesses in terms of their own priorityproviding goods or services to the market.
If you are a market provider and want to know more about program-specific opportunities, please visit the market provider opportunities page.
