Wayne DeForest
Senior Engineer, Strategic Planning & Development

With more than 10 years at WECC and over 30 years in the energy efficiency industry, Wayne DeForest leads research, analysis, and economic modeling for the strategic development of initiatives in the statewide Wisconsin Focus on Energy program. Wayne also provides consulting services in Wisconsin and other states on energy services pricing, cost-of-service studies, planning studies, technical research, and economic analysis of costs and benefits of energy efficiency and demand response. Prior to joining WECC, Wayne served 13 years as an engineer for the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin.

Wayne is a licensed professional engineer in Wisconsin and holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, both from Colorado State University.
