Mike Plunkett manages all of WECC’s residential lighting initiatives in Wisconsin, as well as oversees activities for other program sponsors throughout the Midwest. In this role, Mike works with public utilities, retailers and manufacturers to promote the adoption of energy efficient lighting, including compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) and LED holiday lighting.
Mike comes to WECC with a background in construction project management and facilities management and has extensive experience with negotiation and sales. Previously, Mike served as facilities manager for Five Star Management Services, where he managed 37 multifamily housing communities, and Tri-North Builders, where he managed retail construction projects for clients across the country. Mike studied business administration at Winona State University in Minnesota.
