Janet Brandt has more than 20 years of experience in the design and administration of energy efficiency programs that have generated electric and gas resource savings for utilities and government agencies throughout the country. In her current role as WECC's executive director, Janet serves as general manager of the mid-sized nonprofit and has general oversight of more than 35 regional, state and national contracts for consulting and energy services in more than 10 states. As administrator for Wisconsin's statewide Focus on Energy program, WECC manages market-based energy efficiency and renewable energy programs for commercial businesses, farms, industry, schools, local government and consumers. During Janet's tenure, the organization has produced several nationally recognized program designs and been a strong leader in advocating sound energy policy.
