Energy savings: Over the past 3 years alone, WECC’s programs have achieved significant energy savings estimated at more than 67,000,000 kwh of electricity and 3,400,000 therms of gas. These savings translate into a reduction in CO2 emissions of almost 2 billion pounds and are equivalent to the elimination of 138,000 cars from our roads!

Dollar savings: The energy savings outlined above will save customers more than $105,000,000 in energy costs over the lifetime of the installed measures! Additionally, WECC has assisted customers in financing more than $18,000,000 in energy improvements to their homes.

Market provider partnerships: WECC assists with the development and effective delivery of coordinated, comprehensive programs that transform markets to a higher level of energy efficiency. Currently, WECC is partnering with more than 700 appliance & lighting retailers, 270 builders, 14 equipment distributors, 30 building science consultants and 500 installation contractors to deliver energy services. In designing such services, WECC does not compete with market providers but rather uses its expertise to enhance the provider’s ability to prosper from the sale of energy efficient products and services.
