MADISON, Wis. (Thursday, September 16, 2004) - Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corporation (WECC), was recently
honored by the American Council for an Energy–Efficient Economy (ACEEE) as a 2004 Champion of Energy Efficiency.
According to Bill Prindle, deputy director of ACEEE, "The awards recognize outstanding achievement and leadership
in the field of energy, and energy efficiency."
"We are happy to be recognized by ACEEE for our dedication to promoting the value of energy efficiency," said Janet
Brandt, WECC executive director. "We recognize the substantial economic and environmental benefits of energy efficiency
