The Vendor Selection Process:
WECC oversees vendor selections as part of our work as the administrator of Wisconsin's Focus on Energy program and on behalf of other utility and government clients around the country.

While our selection protocols may vary based on the client involved and their specific procurement protocols, WECC is committed to vendor selection protocols that are easy to understand, equitable, and effective. Our vendor selection process is as follows:

Interested vendors register to receive email alerts.
WECC posts Requests for Proposals (RFPs) on the Web as they are available. Typically notices are posted on WECC's Web site as well as program-specific Web sites (like the Focus on Energy site).
WECC sends email alerts to all registered vendors regarding opportunities posted on the Web. (All notices will include a link to the appropriate Web site.)
WECC selects vendors based on criteria outlined in the specific RFPs and other protocols as determined by specific clients.
Vendors update their email addresses as necessary.
