Health Insurance / Prescription Benefit
WECC offers heath insurance to employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Employees participate in either an HMO or a PPO plan.
- WECC pays 95% of the premium for employees, their spouse and dependents.
- New employees are eligible for coverage the first of the month following date of hire.
- Domestic partner benefits are also available.
Dental Insurance
New employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible for dental coverage through Delta Dental - Premier Plan.
- WECC pays 100% of the premium for employees, their spouse and dependents.
- New employees are eligible for coverage the first of the month following date of hire.
Vision Insurance
New employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible for vision coverage through Delta Dental Vision.
- Employees pays 100% of the premium for themselves, their spouse and dependents.
- New employees are eligible for coverage the first of the month following date of hire
Retirement Plan
All full-time employees who have been employed at WECC for one year are eligible to participate.
- Employees are allowed to make a pre-tax (federal and state) contribution through a payroll deduction.
- Participating employees are eligible to receive a $2 employer matching contribution for each $1 they contribute up to 2% of their income.
- Participants are always 100% vested in the employee deferrals and WECC's contributions.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
- First and second year: 16 days
- Third, fourth and fifth year: 21 days
- Sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth year: 26 days
- Ten years and longer: 31 days
Sick Leave
- Accrue one day per month up to six weeks.
Paid Holidays
- Eight paid holidays including: Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, day after
Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Group Life, AD&D and Long Term Disabilitiy Insurance
All employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible.
- Full life and AD&D insurance coverage is 100% paid for by WECC and equal's one time the
employee's annual salary for life, and two times for accidental death.
- Long term disability pays 67% of the monthly salary up to $5,000/month.
- Voluntary Life for employees who are interested.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
- $3,000 for eligible medical expenses and $5,000 for dependent care pre-taxed per year.
Employee Assistance Program(EAP)
The EAP provides immediate assistance for an employee's and/or their family's personal challenges.
Services offered include face to face visits and unlimited phone counseling.
Tuition Reimbursement
Full-time employees who have been with WECC for one year are eligible to take advantage of educational assistance up to $1,000 per year.
