The MarCom Awards is an annual competition that recognizes creativity in marketing and communications. Since its inception in 2004, MarCom has evolved into one of the largest, most-respected contests in the world. Each year, approximately 6,000 print and digital entries are submitted from marketers across the globe.

We are thrilled that this very blog, which launched in spring 2017, won a Platinum Award! Our blog features energy efficiency industry news, energy savings tips, and updates regarding our areas of expertise and quest for internal sustainability.
Alliant Energy Billboard
A billboard we designed for Alliant Energy to promote the adoption of LED lighting garnered a Platinum Award this year.
Freeborn-Mower Newspaper Ad
We designed a lighthearted newspaper ad to promote the instant in-store savings on LEDs that are available to members of Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Services in Minnesota.
Corporate Values Puzzle
In early 2017, WECC launched new Cause, Mission, and Vision statements, as well as nine corporate values. This oversized puzzle was used as an employee engagement tactic during the launch activities, and is now displayed in our office to reinforce our values on a daily basis.
Builder Annual Report
The builder annual report—developed for builders that participate in the Focus on Energy New Homes Program—is a graphical representation of each builder’s yearly activity in terms of number of homes built, average energy efficiency, incentives earned, etc. The report serves as both a means to motivate trade allies while also serving as a marketing tool for builders.
New Homes Program Guide
The Focus on Energy New Homes Program Guide is a 10-page booklet which details the various standards and requirements of the residential new construction program. The Guide helps trade allies understand the ins and outs of the Program with one easy-to-follow reference piece.
PACE Wisconsin Website
WECC, Program Administrator for the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Wisconsin program, received Honorable Mention for the new website, pacewi.org.
Iowa Be Bright Social Media
We developed Facebook content for participating Iowa utilities, to promote LED lighting purchases as part of the Be Bright campaign.
Country Lines Magazine Ad
We developed an ad for the Michigan Electric Cooperative Association (MECA)’s Energy Optimization program, which was featured in the Cooperative’s Country Lines Magazine. The ad encouraged members and customers to upgrade to ENERGY STAR® appliances.
Energy Optimization Program Brochure
The “Opportunity Knocks” brochure provided an overview of all of the program’s residential, business, and farm energy efficiency programs.
Parade of Homes Poster
This large easel poster is displayed inside Focus on Energy Certified New Homes at Parade of Homes/Builder Showcase events across the state of Wisconsin. The poster summarizes energy savings and other benefits that can be reaped by selecting a builder that partners with the Focus on Energy New Homes Program.
